Our client, a leading global organisation, is seeking multiple highly experienced Payroll Specialists to join their team on a contract basis. These critical roles will primarily focus on managing high-volume payroll activities related to employee transitions, with the potential for extension into 2026 and exposure to other payroll activities.

About the role

  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of complex payroll calculations for employee transitions, including terminations, for Australian and New Zealand payrolls.
  • Utilise your in-depth expertise in SuccessFactors Employee Central (EC) and Employee Central Payroll (ECP) for all processing.
  • Handle high volumes of transactions while ensuring strict compliance with all relevant legislation and internal policies.
  • Collaborate closely with the Australia Payroll Manager to get up to speed quickly on specific entitlements, systems, and processes.
  • While the primary focus is on employee transitions, there is potential to leverage your broader payroll skills on other activities, subject to processing volumes.

About you

  • Multiple years of essential Australian payroll processing experience is a must-have.
  • Significant, proven experience calculating and processing complex employee transition payments using SuccessFactors EC/ECP is essential.
  • Comfortable working with a high volume of similar tasks, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong analytical skills to navigate complex calculations and entitlements.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to seamlessly integrate into a new team.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft HR and Global Payroll from an HR/Payroll role is desirable.
  • Must be able to start work in approximately one month (mid-August), as capacity for training will be limited beyond late August.

The benefits

  • Competitive contract rates will be discussed on a case-by-case basis, reflecting your experience.
  • Opportunity to join a leading global organisation on a high-impact project.
  • Flexible work-from-home policy applies by default; remote candidates outside Melbourne will be considered with justification.
  • Potential for contract extension into 2026.
  • Work alongside experienced Payroll Specialists in a supportive environment.
